Berwyn's 3rd Annual Pride Walk
Event Sponsors
Join us for Berwyn's 3rd Annual Pride Walk in Berwyn's Depot District on Saturday, June 29 as we celebrate our diverse community!
This family friendly event starts at The James Joyce Irish Pub at 2pm and will march along Berwyn's Depot District with a ceremonial gathering at Karasek Park (6844 Windsor Ave). Stick around after the march for an after party at Lavergne's Tavern (6546 Windsor Ave).
Last year, the event brought over 200 LGBTQ+ members and allies to celebrate the growing LGBTQ+ community, as well as our thriving diversity in Berwyn. This year, we expect an even bigger crowd to join in the fun! If you are interested in sponsoring the 2019 Pride Walk, or if you are a Berwynner looking to volunteer, email 1st Ward Alderman Scott Lennon at scott1stward@gmail.com.
Before heading to The James Joyce for the Pride Walk, head over to Proksa Park for the BUNGALO Pride in the Park Picnic from 11am-1pm. Guests are encouraged to bring a potluck item to share with friends and community members and will enjoy complimentary food items.
