Berwyn Business Breakfast: Legislative Updates for 2020
Join the BDC, Mayor Robert J. Lovero and Francine Bailey from Bailey Law Firm to discuss recent changes in Illinois legislation impacting the small business community.
Changes have been made to the Illinois Human Rights Act and the Illinois Equal Pay Act that will affect small businesses in ways that they previously did not. In addition to other changes, an exemption for businesses with less than 15 employees was removed from the Illinois Human Rights Act.
During this presentation, Attorney Francine Bailey will share the details of these changes and outline actions that business owners and employees should take to ensure they are in compliance with the new laws.
