Secure Choice or Your Choice?  Navigating the November 1 Retirement Plan Deadline.  

• If you’re based in Illinois, have five or more employees, and have been in business for at least two years, you may be faced with a decision: offer your own retirement plan or facilitate the state's Secure Choice program.
• Details of the Illinois Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program, including features, requirements, and potential penalties;
• Alternative retirement plan options, like 401(k)s, SIMPLE IRAs, and SEP-IRAs;
• Incentives and credits available for small businesses that establish new retirement plans;
• How to evaluate which retirement plan best suits your business and your employees’ needs; and,
• Steps to take before the program deadline.
