The ADA Transition Plan will focus on identifying sidewalk facilities that limits peoples' abilities to navigate sidewalks and access local businesses\, public transportation\, and other key city assets and developing a long-range plan to improve accessibility throughout the city. The project team will be assessing every mile of city sidewalks to determine the level of compliance with applicable federal standards\, but it is important they get feedback from business owners to learn how the sidewalk system is used and where barriers exist. This meeting is one part of a large effort to engage the entirety of Berwyn over the next couple of months.
